You can also use the chromecast extension for the Google Chrome browser to setup and stream content. https://chrome.google.com/webstore/detail/google-cast/boadgeojelhgndaghljhdicfkmllpafd?hl=en I would caution you that this might not be an ideal use of the product as it is meant to be used with your phone as the controller.
