“Will the android 2.3.6 version cellphone have the capabilaty to stream this Chromecast? My android phone stopped streaming Netflix after an update. The version changed to 4.0 or higher.”

We stream with the new Samsung 7, LG V10 and Samsung 5 so not sure why your update would cause it not to work
