It is not a Antenna. It will not receive a tv signals over the air. It is a Casting/Streaming device that Allows you to stream video and music from the internet or wifi device locally.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, it's for Internet content on your TV, like netflix and hulu
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast will send your content to your HDTV through a HDMI port. If you have a low resolution feed, like a Super 8 movie, you will see the old movie in high definition.....but it won't improve the original content. It won't detect over the air broadcasts. If you watch TV or movies on your smart phone, table, or computer, you can now send to your TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No. The Chromecast like its name suggests casts screen content from a PC, tablet or phone to the TV.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I've had this device for a few months now and as far as I can tell, you can only use it for casting/streaming video, etc from a tablet, cell phone or computer, to a television. You need a wifi connection. You can watch television programs from the networks websites but I don't think you can use it as an antenna. I have an antenna on my house. I've tried the ones advertised on television, that you plug into the TV and hang on the wall or in a window. They'll get you maybe 4 channels and the signal will come and go at random unless you live close to where the signal is being sent from. I gave up and put a small antenna on my roof. I get a dozen or so channels but I still have days where channels don't come in or the programming comes and goes.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This is NOT an HD tv antenna. It is a WiFi device that connects to your computer or phone to mirror the screen on your TV or transmit YouTube/NetFlix/etc onto your TV. It will not receive HD tv terrestrial signals.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, but you can use apps to cast from your phone to the tv. go to chromecast.com/apps for a list
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I doubt it. ChromeCast uses wireless signals from your wireless router, so unless you have an HDTV receiver connected to your router, it is a no go. However you can get some live HDTV broadcasts like NBC etc on your PC then cast them to your HDMI TV set. Google for TV networks, some are free and some are by subscription. The world is changing rapidly and most TV broadcasts including cable and Satellite will go to the Internet eventually.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, this is for streaming only.
