• Reboot your Chromecast and you will be able to do it that again

• That takes some troubleshooting....chromecast didn't actually "pair" with anything....usually the problem is your WiFi isn't on, or the chromecast isn't set up on a WiFi network

• It has to do with your phone. Some phones are incompatible.
