One4all - I don't think you understood the question. The problem has nothing to do with wifi signal strength. There is no way to get past the hotel's login acknowledgement that every hotel requires, because you have no way to put in a room number or code via the chromecast.. The problem is definitely with the chromecast. Just search "chromecast can't use in hotel" and you'll see thousands of people with the same complaint.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes. All you have to do is connect to the hotel Wi-Fi and follow the same process as if you were using it at home.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.yes it can
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Well, you would definitely need a workaround. And showing up in a hotel is not usually when you want to fiddle with things if you're like me. The Chromecast can get on the network, but networks can reject unwanted devices, which is what most hotel networks will do if they use a log in screen.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It puts out its own hotspot u can use it anywhere
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Same limitations as the old one. If I know I'm going to be traveling for a while, I bring my AppleTV since you can connect it to a hardline.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It still has this limitation.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't really know if it's a limitation in the sense you think it is. If your Chromecast was on the network with 10 or 100 other rooms and devices, you'd have no control. Anyone on the network could start casting onto your Chromecast. Creating your own hotspot gives you the control over your device. Plus I think hotels still like making money on pay per view movies. Lol
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Chromecast runs on WIFI meaning if the Hotel wifi is poor, so will your be your experience.... The reason why your current chromecast needs the hotspot is because your hotspot wifi signal is probably 5x better than that of the hotels.. The chromecast isnt the problem. It's the hotels wireless services.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
