• I like the resolution when casting from my phone. I have a Lg G3 and love how the picture looks on the TV.

• Look better - maybe no. But when you stream content/video from netflix or hbo go, screen mirroring will be laggy as it pulls data from your phone or computer. But chromecast pulls data from the wifi it is connected to; thus its faster and does not lock up your phone.

• Max, The quality is Great and on my setup I get 1080 HD video on Netflix, HBO or any HD media stream. Only time I have loss in video Quality is when my internet slows. If you have terrible bandwidth then the video quality will go down but it wont have anything to do with Chromecast ability to display HD video.

• Use the google cast app and it works just the same as samsung smart connect.

• Your phone cannot stream to your TV without some kind of connection source. Either a Chromecast or something built in to your TV. The Chromecast is definitely a good choice, especially for the price.

• The chrome cast is so much more than screen mirroring. With mirroring your screen it makes your phone unable to use but with a Chrome Cast it streams your video as to where you have full access to you device. I promise it'll change your life.

• Based off my experiences with screen mirroring it should look quite a bit better as it will format the videos just as the tv is meant to display them where as mirrioring will generally have a distorted resolution. If you have used netflix on any other device (Xbox, PS4, etc.) The chromecast should look just as good as any other device.

• Chromecast does not use phone data. It is preferable over using screen mirroring
