Will it work with my phone because some of these Chromecast only work specifically with certain Android phone's. null

Don’t know. I use it with iPhones and iPads. But the Android app for Chromecast is available. However, no matter the device, it only works out of apps like Amazon Prime Video or YouTube, or any app containing the code to do casting to a TV. You can’t just open your pictures folder and think you can cast to your TV. That takes different hardware.

I believe casting the phone screen (mirroring the phone on a TV/monitor) only works on certain Android phones but besides that, you should be able to cast videos from other apps that support Chromecast like Chrome browser, Youtube, Prime Video, and others. (*unless you're using a highly customized version of Android like Amazon tablets)
