I have not tested it out in person but I see no reason it won't work in another country*. If you can play the contents on you pc/phone on that country, you can use this. As someone who lives overseas for quite a few years, I am pretty sure of this. *Assuming you have Wifi, which is universal nowadays. Some apps (say Netflix) may have different contents (or may not be available) in other countries. The power adapter supports 110-240V 50/60hz so it is universal too. You may need a plug adapter, though as the power outlet design is not universal at all.
