“i have wifi and three smart tvs, two running off wifi and one connected to xbox... Can someone please clairify in the simplest terms what this is suppose to? Better video streaming quality perhaps?? Faster? Having too many glitches. thx”

In my experience, this device is not necessary if you have SmartTVs. I used it to cast from my phone to a SmartTV until I figured out how to use a laptop to set up my streaming accounts on my SmartTVs. I plan to use my Chromecast when I travel. When I bought it, I had no clue about how to enter login credentials to SmartTv.
