• Yes it does, google h265 on reditt someone was able to play it. However, seem like Rokku might be your type if you plan to play a lot of your own media.

• It runs Netflix 4k but I believe that's proprietary compression that Netflix runs. YouTube I don't think compresses video so I don't know. Great question I want to know also
