• Try downloading the google home app. There it will show you all of the apps (Netflix, Bravo, YouTube etc) that you can cast from. As long as your iPad supports the latest apps, you shouldn’t have a problem casting using the chrome-cast. I use an iPhone 7 to cast. I go through the individual apps that support chrome-cast.

• If on the media platform on your iPad has the cast button somewhere on the video you should be fine. This would be an issue with your iPad and not the chromecast
