When casting any compatible app it shows full screen and you can also still use your phone/device without interrupting the casting. If you're using an app like Amazon prime that isn't supported by casting your screen sharing capabilities are limited and streaming is based on download quality/file size
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It is definitely better than screensharing/mirroring. You're able to cast from an app (like HBO go for example) and use your phone/device while casting, without interruptions.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on your phone AND TV. The phone screen size is what will get mirrored, but if your TV's screen doesn't match the aspect ratio, it will display the black bars (most TVs don't match most phones' screens). However, some TVs also have an option to crop out whatever doesn't fit into the screen or stretching the image to force a full fit, thus showing a 'full screen' mirroring, but with either image missing or a distorted one.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you are casting the video from youtube or netflix app it will be full screen. but if you are mirroring the phone make sure the screen of the mobile in the landscape so that you see full screen. if the phone is in portrait then you will see black walls on the side to maintain the screen resolution...!
