“Is there a way to have the cameras show up in the Nest App, like previous nest cameras? If not, how do you go about viewing the cameras live and recorded footage from a computer?”

I just returned this camera, because of this issue. You can't view this NEST camera in the NEST app! Google is forcing people to sue their "Home" app. Two reasons I returned this camera -- (1) I now need to use the Home app and the Nest App, because certain Nest devices do not appear in the Home app. (2) MORE IMPORTANTLY -- you can not view this new camera from a browser!

Please try again later.Nest Cam (battery) can only be set up and managed using the Google Home app. While the new Nest cameras and doorbells are exclusive to the Home app, you can view both your old and new Nest Cams together in the Home app. We’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy having the option to view their Nest camera feeds from the web, and we are working on adding this experience. However, our priority with this launch was building a complete experience for our new cameras and doorbell in the Google Home app.
