You can reverse the image so it can record upside down. You would want to make sure no water can get into the power port though.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes, you can. However, Nest Cam (Battery) should be placed between 1.8 and 2 m (6 and 6.5 ft) high for optional detection. If you plan to mount your camera higher than 2 m (6.5 ft) above the ground, you'll need to purchase a Made For Google mount accessory. Also, if you need to mount your Nest Cam (Battery) on a ceiling or overhang, or at an odd angle to get the view you want, you can adjust the video so that it's right side up. In many cases, you can simply turn or twist the camera. If that’s not possible, you can flip the video 180 degrees with the Home app.
