“Visually-impaired discrimination? Tell me that Google did not discontinue the ability to login to a Nest account and view live feeds on a regular computer! I can use a tablet to set these up, but not to monitor. Do I have this wrong?”

That's right. The new cameras are not designed to be used on the Nest app.

Please try again later.We’re continuing to support the Nest app. But with the new cameras and doorbell, you can set up, view the camera videos, and manage the camera settings with the Google Home app using a compatible mobile device or tablet. We’re aware that longtime Nest users enjoy viewing the camera videos using the Nest app or web app. However, the new Nest cameras and doorbell are exclusive to the Home app because we wanted to create an integrated experience with your speakers and displays. A Nest Aware subscription applies to all of your cameras, speakers, and displays in the same home structure.
