• Yes they work fine looking out a window. In some light conditions you may get a reflection. We have ours about a foot away from the window and at a slight angle to reduce reflections.

• You can put it in your shed if you want facing out the window LOL as long as you have good Wi-Fi

• No this wont work well. The rotation isnt great and you will get glare reflection off the window obscuring your view depending on the time of day.
