You can consider Nest Cam Outdoor, or the more advanced Nest Cam IQ Outdoor to install outside of your carport, or Nest Cam Indoor, or Nest Cam IQ Indoor for indoor use. All of these cameras are designed to automatically adjust to lighting conditions to provide the best video quality. Nest IQ cameras outdoor or indoor are the best of the nest line. They are 8 megapixel 4K instead of 4 megapixel 4K. It wouldn’t seem like much difference between 4 mp and 8mp but the clarity of the 8mp is far superior to the 4mp and totally worth it!
