“When you use motion alert detection with email notification (with picture attached), is there a pause between 1st and 2nd detection? If nest detects motion, is there fx a 30 sec pause, before it reacts on 2nd motion, or can I choose fx 2 seconds?”

The motion alerts are spread out to prevent receiving multiple notifications of one motion event. Once you receive a motion alert you won't receive another alert for half an hour, but with Nest Aware the events will all be captured in the history.
