The range of the motion sensor is fairly long. We have decent size driveway and it will pick up people walking on the lawn side of our front sidewalk. If you have 2 cams they will appear in app separately so you can view both simultaneously. We are very satisfied with our 2 and will likely be adding two more to the app in the near future.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You set up sectors. Anything within the sector that moves your camera will record. The nest app will display every camera you have on the main screen. You can select a specific camera and it will go full screen to that particular camera.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The range is literally unlimited, anything you can see in the camera view can be setup in zones for motion. Example, I have one of my front yard cameras set so that it lets me know if anyone is in my yard but not if there's traffic in the street. You can block out areas to not see activity as well. Note that shadows and reflections can set it off easily. Cams are displayed differently in the App for iOS based on if you use Spaces or not. With Spaces off, you see little circles for each Nest product randomly ordered by some unknown method as it's not alphabetical. With Spaces on, you see all of your cameras and products listed as big rectangles, also in random order. And there's no way to rearrange them. On the Apple TV app, it just displays all the cameras as big rectangles side by side.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have this mounted three stories up from my driveway. It's clear as a bell straight down and all the way to the end of the driveway at least 70 feet away, including motion sensing. I get notifications when a car pulls into the driveway or drives past the house. When you add multiple cameras they all show up on the app separately. If you want to view just one, tap the image and you'll go to full screen.
