Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I do not own the ADT cameras, but I have left a review here and this is not a good security camera if you need details. Like facial features or license plates. The wide angle lens makes the field of view very large. With 1920 horizontal resolution you lose so much detail at 6ft that you can no longer ID facial features (sure you can recognize someone you know), but not good enough to ID someone you do not know, and it cannot read license plates after 6ft. This is because 80 pixels per ft is required for details like plates, and the wide angle makes the resolution drop off rapidly. Also, at night plates just glow white. I had a package stolen from under the camera and you cannot see the plates or the guy with good enough clarity.

Nest cameras are not monitored, but they have very nice software that sends you push notification almost instantly when motion or/and person is detected. If you don't want to be bothered by every movement thst camera detects, you can set only certain zones or just disable this function. Just don't forgrt that in order to get this notifications you have to subscrive for Nest Aware. $10 per month for 1st camera and $5 for every aditional one.
