This would work fine for you. Once your camera is connected to the WiFi at the business, you create an account and log into the Nest website, the live feed and video history are available there in near real-time. You can do this from anywhere that you can connect to the internet, you don't have to be on the same network.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.You only have to be on the same network for initial setup, after that you can remotely view from anywhere in the world assuming you have an internet connection. I can view my home camera from work, from my parents, a friends house, anywhere.

You need wifi where the cameras are installed and wifi wherever you are to login and see the cameras online. Doesn't matter distance or separate wifi, just need wifi in both locations.
