Yes, if you have a good wifi connection at home & on your phone.. you can watch 24/7. There is no need though, as the camera has options to sent motion and sound alerts that can prompt you to watch when there is activity.

Yes. But with the recording capability of the Nest it would just make more sense to review it later and only look at the events on motion versus watching the thing live. But yes you could watch it live going down the road in theory
