Absolutely, once you have a Nest account, you can access that account from anywhere.

However, if you take your laptop to florida, you can log into home.nest.com to remotely view your camera. You can use any computer or web browser to view it, just by logging in to the nest web site. Even better though, is that you can use the nest app on your phone to view the camera from anywhere as well.

It will also notify you on the app and email you when it detects something like movement or sound depending on how you set it up.
