I don't think a signal will travel that far with the rare times one may have a very directional antenna that can used. Trying a Wi-Fi extender may help but you would need power in the middle. Another option is to run a Cat6 cable to about 250ft from your router (underground or maybe on a fence) and use a Wi-Fi extender as a Access Point. The best option is to run a fiber optic line from your main router(with a media converter) all the way to the pool. Add a router and AP and you got very high speeds for everything internet.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It works on WiFi so if you can pick up the signal on your phone/laptop at the pool then yes, the Nestcam should be OK.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Maybe is the quick answer. I have a beefy LinkSys Tri-Band router and my 4 cameras are all running on the AC network, I'd say the furthest one from my router is about 20' and through a few walls and it barely gets the AC signal. Although if you use the 2.4Ghz band that signal reaches out further. Try using your other wifi devices such as your phone, tablet, laptop, etc. at the swimming pool and see how your connection to your router is from those devices. If you can get a reliable connection from those, then you can probably get a reliable connection with this camera.
