I used mine in this fashion. I do subscribe to the Brinks security, just the nest aware. I leave the Nest secure on "Not Guarding" or you can put it on "Home Guard" and you will be notified by push notifications. I would recommend a camera as well. You can talk to them via the camera as well as see them. The google homes are great for that too but...
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. Not that I’m aware of. You could get the Google Nest door lock and that will give you notifications and/or arm/disarm the google nest security system. I have that setup on my front/back door and I get notification any time the door is locked and again when unlocked.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The alarm won’t go off if you don’t set it, but you won’t be notified if it isn’t set; nor will it go off if your son turns it off with his tag or code within the specified time frame. The door sensor will ping when the door is opened and you can’t turn it off. Add the camera and it will alert your phone when it sees someone enter the room it is in.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It automatically logs everytime the door is opened even without the alarm being set.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No you can not do that much to your dismay.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. The arlo cameras are automatically motion sensored. So once your kids walk with 15-20ft of the door in view of the cam, it should alert you anyway. But no alarm will sound. Just the notification on your phone that arlo has detected motion.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.they have motion detection along with door bell motion is adjustable
