• No it is slightly different. One new screw hole will have to be drilled. (using one from the old)

• Hey there, Deano! Thanks for your inquiry. You’ll need to remove the mounting plate when replacing your previous Nest doorbell with the 2nd gen. The chime connector that came with your existing doorbell also needs to be replaced since it is not compatible with the 2nd gen doorbell.
