• No, but I believe there is only a 3 hour history that you can go back to view what has been recorded. I chose to get a 5 day rolling history for $5 per month in case I need to go back and see something.

• Only if you want the continuous recording 24/7. There’s the 5/10/30 day option with is either $5/10/30 dollars a month.

• No. It will work fine without a sub, but you won’t have any recall of your video beyond three hours. The 5 day cloud plan is $5.00 a month, and it does allow you to archive video for that long. I use that plan and it’s adequate for my needs.
