• Mine worked it was lighted. Nest is engineered to work with low voltage. please ensure that your wifi is strong enough out there. i had nest cams already out there so that wasn't going to be an issue. you may need to search that voltage to be exact but you'd need to see how much you get now as well.

• Probably. You need to check the doorbell transformer and insure it’s not more than 24V AC.
