Works well with Alexa (example: Alexa, lower living room temperature to 72 degrees). You have add the skill, then add a a voice control app in the Alexa app, then discover the Nest. Works really well after that.

Yes, nest works with alexa on amazon echo. I am able to use alexa on my fire tv and fire stick to control nest as well since it is already synced with my echo.
