Nest Thermostat comes with a Head-Cool mode, which automatically switches your heating and cooling system, between heating and cooling as needed to meet any scheduled temperatures or a temperature that you’ve manually selected. You can either use the Google Home app or the Nest Thermostat display to change the settings and set it to Heat-Cool mode. Here’s how: Using the Home app: On the home screen, select your thermostat. Tap Temperature mode Heat mode. Choose the mode you want. On Nest Thermostat display: Tap to open the Menu view. Slide your finger to Temperature mode Heat mode and tap to select. Slide your finger to the mode you want, then tap to set it. You can also check this link for more information on Nest Thermostat’s Heat-Cool mode: https://support.google.com/googlenest/answer/9247301
