“I currently control my thermostat through WiFi and my Alarm.com app. Can I install this thermostat, set it up in my network, and continue to control it through the Alarm.com app? Or does it only work wirelessly through its own app? Thanks.”

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Not sure but you may want to see if you can control your alarm through the Nest app which is extremely flexible and well written. Even if I had to use 2 apps I'd still buy the Nest thermostat because it is easy to setup and I love being able to just pick up my phone and kick the temp up or down anytime I want. The scheduling interface is also easy to use as compared to the old thermostat.
