This is just a sensor & does not offer independent zone control. You can use multiples to sense room temps and even have primary Nest thermostat use a sensor as the reference point for system on/off, heat/cool. But the sensors themselves do not offer any independent control, only the primary Nest thermostat wired into the heat source would offer system control.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.If those heating only thermostats actually control the temperature setting and trigger the heater to turn on then you’d need nest thermostats. The sensors can provide the temperature in that space and you can program the nest to use a specific sensor at different times to heat/cool that room to the setting but it doesn’t do zones and control each room’s temperature to a specified setting.
