Will this work on an older two wire furnace? null

Yes , you have to purchase the nest that is specific for two wire and it works very well . My heat is a forced hot water system. 30 years old and the nest works great .

The Google/Nest website has a compatibility tool which you enter which wires you have and it tells you if the Nest will work or not. Google phone support was excellent, although it was only one call and other customers were not so lucky.
