I have several Google devices. Nest protect smoke and carbon monoxide detectors which use the Nest app. Google hub max which has a camera that uses Nest app. All my other devices use Google Home App. Once both are installed you can access the Nest app from within the Google Home App. It all works very well together.

If you have Nest Aware, your doorbell’s video stream is recorded and saved securely and privately in the cloud so you don’t need a separate app or storage.
