A:Answer The short answer is yes, all the pixel 2 "Verizon" models actually are already unlocked for LTE support on any CDMA and GSM carrier. Surprisingly, none of them have Verizon specific software/bloatware :) . The only reason best buy has all Verizon labeled models is because of the affiliation that Verizon and Google have together. Best Buy in general doesn't like to carry expensive/new/popular unlocked models because phone manufactures don't pay them to and would rather make more money by selling the carrier versions (it's not ideal for us but consumers can't do much in terms of buying unlocked models when the phone first comes out in store).
