“I bought two Pixel 2 XL's on 10/8/2018. I used my Best Buy Rewards account for the purchase. The sales rep said in 6 months I would get a certificate for a free accessory for each phone because I am a rewards member. Is this true?”

I received an email last year for a free accessory months after I purchased my phone. It was not a “certificate” and I only had a handful of things to choose from, none of which fit my phone model. Shipping was free and I had received it within a few days.
