“Can it be used with straight talk or do I need a contract carrier?”

• Yes. Contact straight all and they will tell you it can be switched. Just have to buy the sim card package and you will be able to move the phone to straightalk. They will walk you through it. Straight talk also uses verizon towers so you won't notice much of a difference.

• Google pixels are a Verizon phone. Maybe if you bought an unlocked one but I would double check with your provider
