This works on existing accounts. You do not need to activate a new line to receive the $100 discount. However, you do need to be eligible for an upgrade and your phone must be fully paid for and fully owned by you, if you are on one of those lease or payment plans. I always buy my phones outright for this very reason. Just ordered mine today in store.

That is for activating with a new Google cell service. Not an existing account.

No, it has to be a new service. It is still the best deal out there with the Google home mini, & I will tell ya I love my 3a XL.
