It will take splashes and such...but don't throw it in the pool or a lake.

Nope...I does not come with any IP rating. It does say that it is water resistant, which means it can handle a splash or two....but I definitely wouldn't let it get too wet.

Hello. I am a mobile phone expert. I've tested various devices for this even without a claim of water resistance from the manufacturer. Unfortunately none of the 3A devices are water resistant at all. Only minor splashes.
