Have you tried to get the deal as a current customer? Generally you are correct, but from what I've read in the fine print and seen recently, the current deal is for existing customers as well. It's possibly not the same as quite a good, but currently still a substantial deal.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have been a month to month customer for a few years now. However, since I was need of a new phone and the offer from Best Buy was almost too good to pass up AND since I have been a Verizon customer forever, I had no problem getting the 2 year contract since I have no intention of switching any time soon. I would have preferred to pay for the phone outright but, as you said, long term customers don't get the same deals as new customers do.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I wouldn't be able to say yes or no. I was a customer and in order to get a newly phone I had to pay off my current phone (I believe each customer is on a set credit to use on getting a device from them)and I still owed half of it. I don't think you can cancel then sign up again to get the deal because your social is probably already on their system but you should be able to get a phone either way for being a long time Verizon customer. Deals are currently going on already because if the upcoming Black Friday. So now would be a good time to just sign up for a payment option on a device. There's deal everywhere too. I've read on how Google is going to start some early Black Friday deal for the new pixels. Samsung even has some deals going on as well, I believe it's 2 to 3 hundred off.
