QuestionAre there any drawbacks/benefits to buying the unlocked version and using on the Verizon network, vs the Verizon variant. I plan on staying on Verizon, but dont like bloatware, and in past have used custom ROMs. But don't want to lose any features.

- Answer Yes there are drawbacks- the verizon version has milineter wave- that fancier kind of 5g signal. Regular unlocked does not

QuestionIs this not Universal Unlocked?? When I try to use this with Verizon the rep entered in the IMEI and he says it returns a device name of "Google Pixel 7 - Non-Verizon." We tried and tried and there is no signal being received.

- Answer Non-Verizon just means it does not have the mmWave radio found in the Verizon version. The phone should function just fine on LTE and regular 5G

- Answer Unlocked can work on all networks. Technically the Verizon and T-Mobile will work on all networks as well. But more than likely you are signing a contract if u go with those 2. Unlocked allows u to buy the phone outright and join a network with no strings attached.

QuestionI'm confused. If I buy phone X from best buy, I can pay $500 today for "un-activated," and take it home. If I choose "activate" I pay $400, + $40 Best Buy activation fee, for a total of $440. Is that correct?

- Answer We went to Best buy and they were able to activate the phone and did not charge us extra for that. I don't know who told you that or wish Best buy you went to but we went to the one in the Grove in Wesley Chapel. Good luck. we went to Best Buy because T-Mobile wanted us to trade in our phones and we weren't ready to to trade them in yet because we had things that we wanted to manually take off.

- Answer From my understanding, unlocked phones should work with any carrier, so I'm assuming that it should work internationally as well. I guess the only thing you have to check is wherever you are going in Europe do the frequency bands match up to the Pixel 7 bands for data use.

- Answer Yes you do need a SIM to activate the phone. when we bought ours we use T-Mobile and they have the ability to activate the phone for us. They didn't charge us to do that. either.

QuestionMy carrier is Consumer Cellular, and they say buy the Pixel 7 unlocked and they will use the sim card from my old phone. However, if I purchase the activated $349 plan will I be able to stay with Consumer or will I have to pay $449?

- Answer I am with t mobile, and I payed the $449 which I had no problems at all . I did here that you can pay the $349 and use your sim card, but you must pick up your phone from the store, thats what I was told. Hope this helps you out. Have a great day.
