- Answer None of the Pixel phones have the ability to accept an SD card. You can have it on your phone locally, or you can have your photos sent to the Google cloud. You can also download it to your computer.

- Answer The Google Pixel 9a now has a built in certified Titan M2 security chip, which, yes, in theory, makes it harder to hack. It also comes with Google VPN at no extra cost.

- Answer There is a known serious battery problem with the Pixel 6A battery. A few days ago, Google downloaded a mandatory update that basically throttles the existing battery and renders it almost useless. Good news though, Google has a program to replace the the battery for free, also there are options an to take $100 cash, or $150 towards the purchase of a new Pixel phone. I don't know if that applies to just the pixel 6A model. In the meantime, try changing your cord. Also blow out the port on your phone in case there's something obstructing it like lint or dust.

- Answer The Google Pixel 9a only has digital zoom, not telephoto/optical zoom, since it lacks a telephoto lens, and only has a 48MP main sensor, and a 13MP ultra wide lens.

- Answer Yes , it is. I bought two brand new pixel 9a phones in August 2025 and they both work great on straight talk wireless. You have to buy a straight talk sim card kit for each phone that you want to connect to it. They are available at most Walmart store for around 5 to 10 bucks each if I remember correctly.
