Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.No, they do not have active sound passthrough. However, they use a vented design that allows ambient sound through. Having used a high end pair of Jabra buds for the past 2 years, that DO have an active "hear-through" mode, I can report that I am FAR more aware of my surroundings while wearing the Pixel Buds A-Series buds. Even with music playing, I hear approaching traffic behind me when it is a good quarter mile away. I can also carry on a conversation with somebody, while still having my music playing.

This is really a shame since most other decent headphones offer this feature which makes them much safer to use while running and cycling.
