You can hold your finger on the "G" to turn on and off noise cancelling, and can swipe up and down for volume. You can also use controls to play and pause videos and music, + take and end calls, but I usually accidentally play and pause when one falls out and I have my fingers on it's sensors to continue the vid or song while trying to put them back in.
