“Can you add a memory card for added storage? If I don't plan to use it for the laptop functionality what model should I get? I want to use it to surf the internet, watch movies(Netflix, Digital, Hulu,etc), play games.”

It doesn't have expandable physical storage (no sd slot). If your are just doing some light media consumption, the m3 version should be more than enough. If you are looking at Linux apps or need more physical storage, I would move up to the i5. Google also supplies online storage, if that works for you.
