• It is difficult if not impossible to get the google wifi mesh to work with some 2.4ghz devices.

• This is dual band meaning 2.4 ghz and 5 ghz frequency bands. If your device is 2.4 ghz, and this device is also 2.4 ghz, I would say it would work. It seems as though you have already figured it out, so I am not exactly sure why you are asking...
