• Exact same scenario as you. I bought the Arris SURFboard 32 X 8 cable modem. Mode # is SB6190 and I have had no issues at all.

• Absolutely nothing! Just run 1 wire to one of the mesh units and add the other units through your app to set it up. Its that easy.
