Only one port can be used as a hard wire out.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Only one port is a LAN port and can be used, not both. One device is the main device connected to the cable modem. The other is LAN port. So I have my main one connected to the modem and I have a Gigabit switch connected to the LAN port that feeds all down stream devices in my house. I have the other two hardwired in each location. You can connected a device to the LAN port, and you should be able to connect a small switch to the LAN port splitting the signal for both of your devices.
