Google says they recommend a maximum of 6 access points on a single mesh network, and that you could cover up to 9,000 sq ft with six access points. (https://support.google.com/wifi/answer/7182840?hl=en)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add more if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can continue to add more as you go. You just use the google wireless app and add the new contact point and you're good to go. Three might work fine for you, my house gets full signal on both floors and is almost the same size as yours.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can add more than 3. Google recommends they be placed about 2 rooms apart.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you can purchase one single unit and expand as needed ..I would.try the setup with 3 first however as the units do a great job
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can purchase single google wifi points.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes ur able to buy a fourth and a fifth etc! It specifies this in my iOS app where u can also test the connection, speed and mesh points. There's an option to continue adding. Hope this helped
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes from what I know you can add more then 3 points to to your existing setup. I was able to get a pretty good coverage on 4,500 sq ft on 3 (if you can find good placements for them)
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I don't think you can answer the max square footage question without considering the design inside the house. How many walls/floors between the devices, what's on the walls (e.g. sheetrock, wood, or tile), etc.? But you can start with the three and add more wifi points depending on the setup and the coverage you are getting. The app makes it really easy to add more points even after you set up the first three. My advice would be to start with the three, test your coverage, and add more if needed.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. You can have as many connection points as you want. 3-4 should cover your home well
