• yes just disable the router feature in your modem and only use it as a modem!

• Yes it will work with your modem. As long as you have an internet it will connect up to it and broaden the signal and strength.

• Yes, it will definitely work. The only issues I have faced is with FiOS routers. That can be fixed by assigning a static IP. But none of that will be needed in my opinion for the Arris.
